Can you wash the dishes with those long finger nails?

your nails are really impressive and amazing...

hi i really like your nails alot but other people are just out of there minds by saying that it not cool but i think that its just the way you want your finger nails to be.....can you do what you want to do in your every day life with your long nails?????.

Ms. Redmond appears to be an attractive person, I can't imagine why she would want to take away from that by growing nails so long that she now looks like a freak. Many are born with defects that our out for their control, however she has intentionally made herself look ridiculous. Why? It just doesn't make sense to me, not even if it is just to hold a world record. I'm not sure being known for looking freakish on purpose is a compliment anyone should desire to have. Beside the fact that she looks ridiculous, I would imagine that her nails control her every movement and her entire being, as well as those close to her.

Simply put, there is no rational reason to do such a thing to ones self.

I think they look cool, and I'm a 50 year old woman. I bit my nails all my life, only stopping after a bone disease robbed me of my teeth. Ms. Redmond, you go girl! I'm happy to see you famous for something as silly as this, rather than something like being a serial killer or a Satanist. Bless you honey, and I keep you and your husband in my prayers.

To purposely limit yourself in your capabilities as a human being is just plain stupid. Especially if it is for no other reason than to call attention to yourself. I feel the same way about high heels, just doesn't make sense ya'll!I am not impressed. Show me someone who has reached further as a person, done something extraordinary... then I'll applaud!

I love your nails. They are real attractive. People might wonder how you manage, but I do not. You grew them so you know how to manage with them. They are lovely!!

I find your doing a waste of time. why dont you grow your hair and chop it off and donate it to a good cause like for people who need hair from chemo and other health problems. your disgusting and everyone who likes this is just as crazy... look at the yellow showing from those nails. it screams infection. Its just gross. there are people in the world who dont have use of their hands and make the best of things, your nails are like a insult to handicapped people all over the world. in my mind SHAME ON YOU!

The 'yellow' on her nails is gold fingernail polish. It shows up better in other pictures of her on the web.

Lee - your nails are exotic and beautiful. Please keep growing them, and don't take any notice of the negative comments!

I agree with the the previous poster regarding her hygiene. I don't mean to be vulgar, but how does she take care of herself with those nails? How can a person with nails like that that wipe their rear without injuring themselves or not completely cleaning themselves? Or wash their hair? or properly grip a razor to shave? Oh well, she has to live with herself, not me. Whatever floats your boat lady.

So many silly comments, specially from the aply named "Silly" and "RAK". Her nails would in fact be more hygentic than your nails are as she is quite meticulous in her cleaning her nails. When last did you bother ceaning your nails "Silly" and 'RAK"? And using your teeth doesn't count either!
She is at least unique, and will be remembered for many years, even after her death. Nobody will remember any of the people who made such insentive comments on this board.

Why in the world would someone voluntarily impose physical limitations upon themselves or become partially disabled for notoriety? Is she employed or even employable?
RAK made an excellent point about this being an insult to disabled people. At least do something for a good cause for others. Growing excessively long nails for publicity is purely self-indulgent and arrogant.

FIRST OF ALL: they are painted gold! They are not yellow. Sure, it is crazy, but I think it is beautiful. Lee was in a car accident recently and her nails broke. I am not sure if they are all gone, but it is meant to be. Just like she said growing them out in the first place was: meant to be. Please pray for her and the return of her amazing nails!

(it is not an insult to disabled people when you impose a disability upon yourself. you are almost putting yourself in a disabled persons shoes, and i think it is admirable)
