Shame shame shame on all LDS people for being so blind to what is happening! Where in the Book of Mormon are policies such as preemptive war and torture advocated? The reasons given for our warring against Iraq have changed considerably since Bush brought this on ..... How truthful has he been? Are we not warned about choosing power and money over caring for the poor and needy? .... warned repeatedly! ..... The BOM describes many many instances where people are deceived by those who SAY things the masses want to hear but where their ACTIONS are not consistent. Bush may SAY he is a 'godly' man, but look at his actions, his policies. They are not consistent. The BOM was given to us to help us, to warn and guide us .... yet if the statistics this DJ poll is correct, LDS people are not utilizing this great gift. If LDS people believe that the US Constitution was an inspired document (and I do) why are they neglecting to see how the Bush policies have trod on these principles?
