Skousen evoked strong feelings

The article mentions that Skousen's beliefs only in passing, but Firmage is quoted specifically and given quite a bit of space in the article, leaving me feeling that, as Firmage, the world is better off without Skousen. Firmage's remarks are portrayed as the accepted norm of opinions regarding Skousen's work, without anything else in the article to support that point of view. This seems to be too harsh a judgment of what others thought of Skousen.
Why give so much credence to the critics of Skousen now that he is gone? It is true that he evoked strong feelings, but, this article gives the impression that those strong feelings were only negative, critical feelings, when it is actually true that there were people who agreed with Skousen's view of the world, as much as there were people, such as Firmage, who did not agree with it? Wouldn't it have been better to have given BOTH sides of the story by including the remarks of leading people who agreed with, or at least appreciated, what Skousen did with his life's work? I heard him speak on several occasions and I do not agree with this portrayal of him.
