I was serving in Chesapeake at the time of this tragedy, The first day i showed up in that area we had exchanges and Elder Heidbrink came with me and we went to an appointment that our previous missionaries in the area set up. We lived in the same apartment as the Zone Leaders and found out about the news the night it happened. We were all concerned for the two elders who got shot, and we had phone calls coming into our apartment seeing if any of the missionaries who got shot where us. This was a hard thing four our mission, because we all felt safe with no worries about getting shot, until this incident happened. The morning after this happened we went on with our normal routine and a lot of people asked us why we were out today because of the tragic news the night before, a was a good way to talk to people about our religion and what we believed. Elder Young was an awesome missionary, and he is still doing a great work.
