Buttars wants to prohibit gay clubs

East High's GSA in 2001 was one place where I was able to escape the
hateful rhetoric of my family, my religious "allies," and my
community. During the many times I attended these meetings, gay sex was never
brought up. We were a group of 20 or so vulnerable individuals who were only
empowered by our camaraderie. Buttars, you wield your hate in a way that
suggests you're only suppressing something. When you're ready, there
are clubs you can join wherein you can safely discuss your true self.
