Shroud of Turin — Local scientist says the cloth covered Christ

The find reported on the Shroud is very interesting. One of the daters of the Shroud has now began to question whether the original shroud sample was not from the repair. Flowers particiles and also the finding that the man who is on the shroud is the same man as on the Ovedio cloth known to be older, shows that C/14 dating does not fit the rest of the evidence. Another factor is that despite the dating being carried out under the guide of the Vatican, the late Pope John Paul II maade a statement calling the Shroud the burial cloth of Christ. So the Vatican did not take the date given. Yet they were the ones to have it dated? Ian Wilson also wrote that two samples were dated. One was of the repaired part of the Shroud which fits the date given and the other of the original cloth. It is possible given the mishaps with the shroud throughout history that the Vatican wanted the true date and the one we received is the repair in order to keep it shrouded in mystery so as to help protect it from theft, being destroyed delibrately and also being taken by those who claim they can clone Christ by taking blood samples from the Shroud. There is simply too much evidence on the Shroud to dismiss it. If mediveal times had the ability to produce negatives then there would be more evidence of this and photo taking would of happened a lot sooner. The Shroud stands as historical evidence not only that Christ lived, but also of His Resurrection.

The theory that it was created by Da Vinci is nonsense as the Shroud was already known in Europe 200 yrs before he was born! Presumably Da Vinci also invented time travel.

The shroud may very well be an authentic burial shroud, but if DNA testing shows blood stains,It can not be the shroud of a Jew,which Jesus was, since his disciples ( all Jews ) would have used traditional Jewish burial ritual to prepare the body.There is no possibility of blood getting on the burial shroud.

New C-14 dating would place the Shroud about 310 A.D. when crucifixion was still practiced by the Roman Empire, and around the time of Constantine's 'conversion' when dozens of new relics were suddenly 'discovered', but in reality all manufactured to support his faith. Among these fakes is the Shroud. People forget dead bodies don't bleed. Jesus was on the cross three hours after death so the blood on his wounds, aided by wind and dry heat, would have completely dried and coagulated. Then, his body would have come into contact with several cloths afterward: one, two or more cloths used in lifting and carrying him off the cross smearing and absorbing any remaining moist blood and sweat during the time it took to transfer his body to the tomb. Then, his body was quickly washed, dried and (like Lazarus) wound with linen strips, packed with aromatic spices and a small cloth placed around his head tied at the neck. I believe Jesus lived, died, and was resurrected, but the Shroud of Turin never touched the body of Jesus because it was made 300 years after his death.

Shroud may be real or maybe not. But One thing is sure for me that Jesus Christ made that ultimate sacrifice to save me and all of us from death. Having shroud like this is not bad though to remind us once in a while what could have been without Him. I am so priveledged and honored to serve a God like Him. The King of All Kings, King with no shadow, One and Only True God, Alpha and the Omega, The author and Creator of Life and the Perfector of Our Faith. I simply do not have enough words to describe Him. The name to which every knee shall bow. LONG LIVE THE KING!!!
