I listened to these guys all the time when I was growing up in a small town called Gardiner in Montana!! They all fostered my love of 70's music!! I owe it all to them. I still have my 45 record of Skinny's called Pres. Board and Jimmy Smarter with the flip side being The First Annual Streak In. I love these guys.

No mention of The Night Rider (Johnny Rider). KCPX had a great team in the 70's. I couldn't wait to get home form school to listen them. Met many of them at personal appreances (school dances and such). They were all fun guys to chat with and you could tell they appreciated there fans. Best to all of them.

KCPX AND KNAK.WHEN I STARTED ATTENDING BYU I ENJOYED
BOTH KCPX AM & FM.THESE GUYS WERE GREAT AND KCPX WAS
AS GOOD AS KHJ 93 BOSS RADIO IN L.A!

I just heard from a friend that former announcer John benson of KCPX 1320 had passed away.Maybe this was in 2008 or early 2009. Does anyone know about this?
