i did not know that it was so much beautifull butterfly but i would like to know more of butterfly.here in chile there are in spring only but not so much colors.

...when we lived in northern Nevada, these beautiful butterflies were migrating in huge numbers. I felt so sad when they flew into my car as I was driving, as I had no desire to kill any of them! As I recall, they are not a big butterfly, like the Monarch, but they are very pretty, and fly together in huge groups. They are migrating from Mexico. Where do they go, and do they return to Mexico later in the Fall? Just curious, if anyone knows.
