Monica Baird was my aunt. I Love her with all my heart. I think of my dear aunt every day. I miss her so much! I wish i would have known her better. I was little and most of my life that i was more mature and could get to know her she was on drugs. I love my aunt monica so much. I still look at old photos of her. She is so beautifull.

I married Monica's father in 1997 and we live in Texas. I first met Monica when she was a young, beautiful, vibrant teenager. We visited Monica and her siblings every time we came to Utah which was at least once a year. The last time I saw her, she was healthy, beautiful and was enjoying her young son, Caleb. They even visited with us in Texas which was a wonderful treat for us, but especially for her dad. We began to get reports of her worsening drug problem and he went to Utah two weeks before she died ironically to visit her and the rest of his family and even tried several times to see her and call her. But she refused to answer either the phone or the door. When Margaux called to tell us the tragic news of her death, his heart broke..his opportunity gone to say goodbye. He often still cries and misses her terribly. We love you, dear Monica...you are gone but never forgotten.

I recently found out that Monica died. This came as a complete shock to me. I first met Monica when our boys were in the same daycare class at SLCC. I was in nursing school and Monica was taking Pre-requisites. Shortly after that I seen her again with Caleb at my apartment's, and found out she had just moved in. We immediately became good friends. Everyday after work or school we would meet at the playground. The kids' would play & we would talk about stuff that we both related to. Monica was my angel, I needed her at that point in my life. We were both single moms. I couldn't have made it without her. We kept our kids in the same class even when we switched daycares. The boys loved playing together all day long. Monica started dating a guy that seemed okay at first, but then started being abusive. She would tell me that she was fine and was going to break it off. She became more distant, and I finished school and moved in to a house. We lost contact at that time, I had no idea she was doing drugs. I am so sorry.
