The hungry elf

this is a cute fairy tale but i think that instead it should say something like the little elf wouldn't give the gameskeeper a little box because he was selfish and the squire didn't over use it and was good about it or something because i think that a little elf beating two peopole is kind of rough for little kinds.

I think being beaten by a little elf is a good way to learn a lesson especially for a naughty game keeper and a selfish lord although he does not seem so bad to have given his cook a second chance - anyhow how much can it hurt to be beaten by a little spoon. You have to be pretty inventive to cause any pain at all. Everyone tries to hide the facts of pain and lonliness from kids when infact they are probably far more used to it than adults - learning to crawl and walk and not being able to communicate with people makes young children pretty used to the idea of tough challenges - they probably suffer phyical pain from falling and banging their heads every day! As long as they are given love and care and looked after there is no use sheltering them from things they probably understand better than us!!!

I liked it.It was very interesting and various theories can be brought forth to explain why Nick Jonas was the little elf and Miley Cyrus the greedy gamekeeper and Hannah Montana the evil squire.Yay Disney!!!!1It appears in fairytales.

Fairy - I'm assuming from your message you are not even out of high school yet becuase of your comparisons to products of the Disney teen factory that normal adults ignore.

As a storyteller there are many great points to this tale and I am glad to come across it. It would be easy to tell to childern and is simple to follow.

I really like this story it makes people relize that they should not be selffish and not share. Things may happen when you dont share.
