Huntsman's charity sets him apart

Very interesting article. I watched an article on Jon Huntsman on Glen Beck and was very amazed at this man. I would like to kmow how to contact him or have him contace me in reference to the home for abused women.

the interview of Mr. Huntsman by Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck show(CNN) on 12/29/07 was inspirational. Huntsman is as humble and caring as he is rich

As the two previous comments of today, I have just seen the 12/30/07 interview of Mr. Huntsman on the Glenn Beck show. What an inspirational interview! I now want to find Huntsman's book for a great read!I can only hope to strive to be as charitable in my life as Mr. Huntsman. He appears to be the most humble and gentle of men. I hope that his family has been influenced to have the "moral compass" and compassion that he appears to have. I hope his passion for causes is continued long after his natural life. Thank you, Mr. Huntsman for being such an example!

I am an educator in L.I.NY. I told my students that it is important to do well in school but to live a moral righteous life, caring and respecting others is more important.You will live a happier better life when you make someone else's life better.
My student's were asked if you had a million dollars what would you spend it on? Of course 6th-8th grade students responded: "buy a jaquar", get a big house for my family and a little house for me next door all mine." "Go all over the world." " buy lots of games for my Wii."
Then I told them about you/ your life. Two days later I asked them again "what would you do if you had a million dollars? The following are answers I received: "Feed all the poor people", buy clothing and toys for children who have nothing." " make all the sick people better." Dear Mr. Huntsman,
My husband and I felt so honored to see your interview w/G.Beck. I have never seen anyone to humble and have an understanding of our responsibility to "notice hurting people" like yourself. I want you to know that you have had a direct impact on our lives since your show. For Christmas this year, instead of giving gifts to each other we were able to meet a need of another family member which we had "noticed" and this time we didn't turn our heads because of you. Thank you for the best Christmas in my life!!

Wow. Like the others here I saw you on Glenn Beck. I think your story needs to be heard elsewhere/everywhere. More people need to hear this, there are a lot of good people out there that want to help but for some reason they don't, maybe they don't have time or just lazy (like me). I have commited myself to monthly donations I only need to find the address to sent to. I will also purchase your book. You have my attention Mr. Huntsman. I only hope a million others received the same dose as I. Thank you.

Jon Huntsman Sr.'s wealth may be the reason most people talk about him, but I personally can tell you that he is much more than a "rich" man. Back in the 80's I was privilidged to sit at his dinner table with his family several times and sleep in his home. My father had recently passed away and he talked to me many times alone in his office, giving me fatherly advice and showing such kindness to me personally that I have, nor will, ever forget. His money may make him famous, but this man is worth more money than exists in the world. He and his family treated me as part of theirs and my experience with the Huntsman family has and will be a lesson to me the rest of my life. I didn't even know how wealthy he was as the time, but I'll always remember the lessons he showed me about how to treat other people. He is a gem in this world. Thank you Jon, Karen and family for your compassion to others. It has never been forgotten and never will.

I had the humble experience of attending church in the same chapel as Jon and Keren did though i doubt very much that they remember me. I believe i was 12 maybe 13 at the time there in Studio City, Calif. I remember bishop Gordon and Counselor Engamann but the one I remember most was the other Counselor ... oh .. what was his name ..... Oh yes it was Jon Huntsman. Back then he was young and his family was very young too. But I remember he was had the same demenor he has today. He always gave it his all to make things happen around others. To you Jon i salute you, for making a difference to someone you probably never knew you had an impact on. I this life and this world we need alot more like you!!!
