Last week: Won vs. Syracuse, 42-29
Outside of Alabama, the Trojans may be the best team in the country. Senior quarterback Matt Barkley and a talented group of skill players make for an offensive juggernaut. And they're eligible for postseason play again this year.

Last week: Won vs. Nebraska, 36-30

The Beavers notched a massive upset of then-#13 Wisconsin in Corvallis on Sept. 8. Their defense held the Badgers to just 207 yards of total offense and forced two turnovers as well.
Next up: Saturday, Sept. 22 at UCLA
Last week: Won vs. Southern Utah, 50-31
After losing their season opener to a WAC team in Nevada, the Golden Bears let Southern Utah hang around for more than half the game before finally putting the T-Birds away. That doesn't bode well for a tough Pac-12 schedule...and they visit Ohio State next week. Yikes.
Next up: Saturday, Sept. 15 at Ohio State
Last week: Won vs. Eastern Washington, 24-20.
After losing their season opener in Provo, Wazzu survived a scare against Big Sky opponent Eastern Washington. Quarterback Jeff Tuel completed 20 of 26 passes for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Next up: Friday, Sept. 14 at UNLV
Last week: Lost at #3 LSU, 41-3
After beating San Diego State to open the season, the Huskies ran into a buzzsaw in Baton Rouge. They get what should be a breather this week against Portland State, but Oregon and USC are looming.

Next up: Saturday, Sept. 15 vs. South Carolina State
Last week: Lost vs. Sacramento State, 30-28
After they beat the Utes to end their season last year, you might have thought the Buffs were on the way up. After losing to Colorado State and FCS school Sacramento State, the answer is clearly, "No, they aren't."
Next up: Saturday, Sept. 15 at Fresno State
