Utah voted one of the best place to be young in the U.S.
Scott G. Winterton, Deseret News
Utah made the cut based on its large, youthful population and low unemployment, Richard Barrington, senior analyst for MoneyRates.com, said in an interview. The state also boasts the lowest average education costs in country, he said.
"Student debt is at an all-time high now," Barrington told the Deseret News. "That's an example of what we were looking for. That can really make a difference when you're starting out in life."
The state also ranks third in total youth population, Barrington said.
