Presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and some of the most well known Republicans in the country are meeting in Park City, Utah, this weekend. Many of Romney's top donors will be there to celebrate and plan for the November election. Romney helped organize and run the Winter Olympics in 2002 in Salt Lake City.

This article makes me wonder -- Should only the rich get the positive public image and public relations possible with public acts of selfless giving?

After reading this article about Mitt Romney's Park City Utah retreat for his rich political sponsors, I contemplate that famous line of Max Detweiler's in "The Sound of Music" : "I love the way the rich live. I love the way I live when I am with the rich."

So very charming, don't you think? A humble little collection of those who have made it and the wanna-be's.This could also be titled, 'Lifestyles of the Politically Rich and Famous.'

Ahh.... rest well little children, the political decision makers are taking every precaution in your behalf. At least we know some of the people who will be expecting political compensation for their donations and support. You really don't think there will be any payback issues, do you? This wouldn't be a concern for me if these people were actually conservative and constitutionally savvy.
Well, let's prove once again.... Money IS the mother's milk of politics! All this makes me think of the song from Fiddler on the Roof; "If I were a rich man,..... for when you're rich they also THINK you're wise!"

"....if the ants only knew the power they really have.." Just a side note.... the ants are starting to get it.....

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a president, which in turn can buy security to businesses like Nu Skin, Melaleuca (Frank VanderSloot,) and other MLMs who are dependent on politicians like Romney to keep the FTC, SEC and FDA off their backs. Bush Jr wasn't any different... Amway bought his presidency.

It was nice to see the Who's Who of people out to destroy the middle class. All we need is a picture of Romney and Obama together and then we could call them The Pretenders.

I am so impressed with the Romney's ability to organize. It should not be a detriment to
Romney or his colleagues to be rich. It is sad how many people want to discredit Romney for
achieving wealth. Why can't we just be happy to see that someone actually knows how to manage money as well as his life. Those in attendance have worked hard for what they have also and deserve to be there!

Mitt Romney's retreat at Deer Valley for his top supporters and contributors is consistent with his excellent manner of doing business. I concur that those donors who pulled in at least $500,000 for the campaign are entitled to weekly campaign briefings, VIP entry to finance events across the country, and special access to the Republican National Convention this summer. This inclusive experience for all in attendance will produce tremendous positive results within and beyond his campaign. Romney's brilliant leadership capabilities and sterling moral character make him the absolute best qualified candidate to ever seek the presidency in my opinion.
