With the NFL Draft beginning Thursday night, several local prospects stand a chance of hearing their names called this year. While it's somewhat of a down year for Utah and BYU prospects, Utah State has three players who may get picked during the course of the seven rounds.
Here's a list of those most likely to get drafted, along with some who are likely to get picked up as free agents.

Wagner is projected as the No. 4 overall ILB prospect by ESPN and as the No. 80 prospect overall. As a result, he'll likely get drafted in the third round, although some project him going late in the second round. Wagner is likely to be the first local player selected this weekend.
Bergstrom is ranked as the No. 9 offensive guard prospect by ESPN and as the No. 90 prospect overall. He'll likely get picked late in the third round or early in the fourth round.
Turbin is ranked as the No. 10 running back prospect and as the No. 116 prospect overall by ESPN. Look for Turbin to go anywhere in the fourth or fifth rounds.
Reynolds' stock has gone down somewhat over the years, but he's still projected to go late in the draft. ESPN has him rated as its No. 12 offensive tackle prospect and as the No. 153 prospect overall.
Fangupo played just one year for the Cougars, but performed well and has caught the attention of NFL scouts. ESPN has him rated as its No. 17 defensive tackle prospect and as the No. 187 prospect overall. Fangupo will likely get drafted in either the sixth or seventh rounds.
Smith is marketing himself as a third-down back and is rated as the No. 17 running back and as the No. 214 prospect overall by ESPN. Smith will do well to get drafted, but will undoubtedly be picked up as a free agent if not.
Black is unlikely to get drafted, but will likely get picked up as a free agent. He's rated as the No. 31 cornerback prospect by ESPN.
Cullen holds slim hope of getting drafted, but will likely get picked up as a free agent if not. He's rated as the No. 21 offensive tackle prospect by ESPN.
Shelby hopes to get picked up as a free agent and is listed as the No. 30 defensive end prospect by ESPN.
Brown has slimmed down and hopes to get picked up as a free agent. He's rated as the No. 30 prospect at center by ESPN.
