After BYU staged a furious rally — and recorded the largest comeback in NCAA Tournament history — to knock off Iona Tuesday night, the No. 14 seeded Cougars advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Following is a top list of how some reacted to the comeback.

Dick Vitale, from Twitter

"Can't believe this — went to sleep early 4 March Mayhem media tour and WOW, just learned that BYU won"

Myron Medcalf, ESPN

"I'd just watched two of the greatest comebacks in college basketball history. In Dayton. With the President of the United States in the crowd for one of them."

Andy Katz, ESPN

"The selection committee said BYU and Iona were 14 seeds because of the need to have the Cougars play into a Thursday-Saturday regional if they won. But they also wanted to make sure the Cougars weren't near a WCC team or out West (too far to travel from Dayton). So that limited the Cougs and dumped them in nearby Louisville. But it also means that Marquette is getting one of the best 14 seeds that a No. 3 seed has seen with the Cougars coming back to beat Iona."

Scott Van Pelt, ESPN, on SportsCenter

"BYU with just a staggering comeback, it is impossible to overstate how badly they were getting pummeled. Down 25 in the first half, it looked like Iona was going to score 200 points."

Doug Gottlieb, ESPN, from Twitter

"Even LL Cool J would call this a comeback"

Greg Anthony, NBA TV and CBS, from Twitter

"It's amazing how much tempo has to do with games 2 examples of that tonight. Iona can't play slow but slowed the game down by going zone"

Seth Davis, Sports Illustrated and CBS, from Twitter

"Good morning everyone. Wow I had the strangest dream. Teams blew leads of 16 and 25 pts on same night in NCAA tourney. Obama was there too!"

Tom Holmoe, BYU athletic director, from Twitter

"Wonder why I could not get to sleep last night? Must have replayed the Cougars 25 pt. comeback a hundred times in my mind. What a win!"
