I love my Kindle Fire! I also paid $200 for it instead of buying a $500 ipad. Sure, they can video-call each other. I just can't justify $300 for one feature.
Oh yeah, plus Apple doesn't allow using apps they don't like. With my Kindle and my PC, I make my own choices. Did I forget to say I spent less money too?
:)
A voice of Reason,
"Sure, they can video-call each other. I just can't justify $300 for one feature."
If you think that's the only difference, you should study up a little more. There's a reason--no, make that MANY reasons--that Apple DOMINATES the tablet market.
giantfan,
Apple dominates? Sounds pretty fanboy-ish to me. They can have the market. I couldn't care less what the masses want. I care about what's fair and reasonable. Apple overcharging for everything they produce, and their app-store and privacy policies are worth my attention more than a list of features and how shiny something is. I know what features there are. It's still overpriced.
I was really hoping the new model would have a border that is half as wide, or less. The wideness of the border on i-Pads has always seemed excessive to me.
Voice of Reason, can you view/create word and power point documents on the fire? I've been looking into getting one.
