Several athletes who are also members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have embraced Twitter. Notable names like NBA rookie Jimmer Fredette, promising high school recruit Jabari Parker, Olympic gold medalist Torah Bright and Baltimore pitcher Jeremy Guthrie are among many who have taken to the social media as a means of interacting with fans and peers.
