Several players committed to in-state college programs had big games last weekend. Here are just five of those performances:
Vigil didn't play for most of the second half in Fremont's 50-0 win over Weber, but still managed 101 yards rushing and three touchdowns on just 10 carries.
Weeks did a bit of everything during his school's 51-8 win over Holbrook. He only had one catch for 16 yards, but also rushed seven times for 114 yards and a touchdown along with completing 3-of-4 passes for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Hadley recorded a state record 100th career touchdown during Connell's 55-7 win over Columbia-Burbank. He scored a total of six touchdowns while running the ball 14 times for 220 yards.
Nelson did it all again for his team in their 67-7 drubbing of Sky View. He ran the ball 24 times for 157 yards and three touchdowns while completing 30 of 43 passes for 300 yards and five touchdowns.
In the biggest in-state game of the week, Hansen came up huge for the Knights. He did a bit of everything against the mighty Miners, scoring six touchdowns in all. During the game, he constantly was able to make plays against whatever Bingham threw at him. He rushed the ball 17 times for 105 yards while completing 21 of 33 passes for 381 yards and six touchdowns.
