Although Lillard has been in a shooting slump for the last month of the season, he still provided the Blazers with a monster year. On the season, Lillard played in all 82 games for Portland and averaged 20.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.6 assists to help lead the Trail Blazers to a 54 win campaign.

As valuable as Lillard was in the regular season, he has been even more so in two huge Portland road wins over the Houston Rockets in the opening round of the playoffs. In his first ever playoff appearance, Lillard tallied 31 points, nine rebounds and five assists as the Blazers escaped with a hard-fought two point win. Lillard followed that up two nights later by chipping in 18 points, eight rebounds and 11 assists in a 112-105 victory.

I sometimes wonder if teams are reluctant to play Jimmer because they're afraid he will become a star and turn the spotlight away from the coaches and other players....? Just sayin...

@moracle...I am a Fredette fan through and through. Your comment is one of the more ridiculous I read in quite a while.
