If 'Upworthy' covered the Bible, they would write the Best. Headlines. Ever.

The article was obviously written by a trinitarian centric point of view, namely that if you are neither a Protestant nor Catholic, you are something other than Christian. This is why I believe we as Latter Day Saints need to defend the Godhead more and to point out the fallacies of the "three-in-one" concept of the Trinity. We are not proactive enough. They certainly are with denouncing the Godhead. This is precisely why there will continue to be much misunderstandings of LDS beliefs for many years to come, even in this age of the information highway.

I stumbled upon this article and I was reading this and I just wanted to respond to your comment. I believe in the trinity and scripture supports the trinity from Genesis through the Old Testament and all through the New Testament. Comparing Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 is an interesting study of the trinity and the deity of Christ and most importantly John 3:16 shows us that God loves us and salvation is in Christ alone. That He died on the cross for our sins, He conquered death, rose again, and is our salvation, and that by believing in Jesus we can have eternal life.
