you typically only see the offensive commits since you can't put a number on the defensive players but Austin Lee, Utah commit, shut down the Jordan receivers he covered as Alta beat Jordan on Friday. For the second straight season he dominated the Jordan receivers and helped Alta shut-down Jordan's pass game.

This article left out the two rushing TD's Travis Wilson had to go with the two he had passing.

Tanner Mangum can not get here soon enough!

Hey Tanner, maybe you should rethink your decision. Poor coaching. Go to a better program with better competition.

@ Pipes-I'm sure you thought the same about Jake Heaps two years ago as well.

Why was my comment denied Desnews? Your judgement is questionable, or atleast whoever is monitoring them right now. I'll write it again.

Re: Wyocougar - ya, no kidding. Just give the byu fans time and they'll be talking about next year. ha. i'm sure he didn't mean much with that comment but it's always "we're going to be great next year," "our recruits are better, we're winning the battle, etc". I'd love to have Mangum, he's a good kid and a good ball player. But he won't see the field until 2015 and who knows if he'll be good. Heaps was all world but his play has been poor so far. same old same old...

I'm looking forward to seeing what Utah commit Chase Hansen, from Lone Peak, can do against Bingham on Thursday. He's been absolutely increadible this year and this will likely be his greatest pre-playoff test!

Also, Go Hawks!
