The U should have two very good QB's coming into next year. If Hansen goes on a mission he may be the man when he comes back. If he doesn't go, the tall kid from the elite 11 will put up a fight.

Props to Chase Hansen. Those are some incredible numbers. I'm a Y fan and am thrilled about Mangum and resultingly wasn't too upset we lost out on Hansen because I felt we got the better guy. I still do believe that, but after seeing Hansen so far this season, I think Utah got a great QB themselves (along with Wilson) and whatever position he plays, he will be a gamer.

Utah got the better guy because Hansen can run also, college has become the dual threat quarteback.

Hansen looks a little frail to be a linebacker, especially in college, but maybe that's just the picture. Either way, I'm excited for the talent that he brings to the table for Utah! Go Utes!

Jordan, I saw Hansen play Friday and he is definitely not frail. But I personally think his best position in college might be at receiver. He did not look comfortable or natural playing safety, but when he had the ball in his hands he looked fearless and punishing. His downfield throws were strong and fairly accurate, but his short, touch throws were just a step up from awful. Very excited about his athletic ability coming to the U, though!

Check your stats here, I'm pretty sure Chase ran for two TDs, totaling 8 overall. He had an athletic somersault to end the first half and a scamper up the middle in the 3rd or 4th quarter I believe.

Mangum fits perfectly into what BYU does on offense. He's definately the cream of the crop when it comes to QB's nationwide. You don't get invited to the Elite 11 and end up as a MVP of that camp without being the best-of-the-best. This kid is exciting. Anyone know if he is planning on a LDS mission or not?

Yes he has said he is going. I am glad because the past stars did not go and i think mangum will be a good example to my young boys. Magnum is a stud and even the Utah fans will like him
