There were some big performances this past Friday, making the job of discerning the top 5 a difficult one. There is some good football going on around the state and some very decent numbers to match the quality of football.

I agree with all of these selections, but props to Viewmont's QB Josh Staples and receiver Haden Heath and the entire team and staff. Viewmont's come-from-behind win over Bountiful has not received much attention, but after a night of frustration, the Vikes score twice in the finals 5 minutes (last TD with 5 seconds to play) to win 17-13. Great job guys!
