Iconic images of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks

For the umpteenth time, please just put all the photos in one page that I can scroll down. OK, I'm exaggerating, but twice before I have commented that this top 10 format takes so long because I have to keep clicking and waiting for pages to load. And both times previously, several people recommended my comments, and/or wrote other comments in agreement. Or if you must have the click 1 page at a time format, also give the option to just see the whole list. I don't know if anyone in charge at DN (besides the moderators) reads these comments, but maybe someday I'll get lucky and someone will.

BTW, one of the captions said that 9-11 was "one of the worst" attacks on America.

If I'm not mistaken, it was "the" worst, exceeding loss of life in even the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Really? That's all you guys have to say about this set of photos from 9/11? That it's hard to view, why isn't it "scrollable" and that it should be more convenient for you to consume? Man, I want your problems, because those are pretty tame. Thank you, Deseret for putting together a collection of photos that make us stare into our immortality, sometimes question our beliefs, challenge our resolve and otherwise continue to bring out the best in modern humanity on the worst day of modern humanity's existence. to HavartiWhiz: I have DSL but can't afford the fastest connection. As for patience, I have lots of things to do, such as spending time with my kids, or church work, etc., (and I admit, I shouldn't be taking the time to write this but I'm doing it anyway) so if there is a faster way to read the news, let's have it. Patience is a virtue, but if we are too patient we don't get things done.

To IV_XX: My comments were on the format, not the content. I've commented on this format before, so this was just a continuation of my earlier comments. So, no, I wasn't really saying anything at all about the set of photos from 9/11, or about 9/11 itself. I chose instead to open my print newspaper and see the photos there, which took far less time. And, no, you don't want my problems, which are far greater than anything I would ever write in this space. But when small problems are easy to fix, I say, fix them.

Look, just because we'd PREFER something to be presented in a more convenient format does NOT make us impatient. It certainly does not mean that this is a "problem" that we face, meaning that we have it easier than you or other readers.

If someone posted 'I wish comments were 'reply-able' where we could have conversations based on one comment, where others could collapse conversation if it didn't interest them' - I might very well reply saying 'Yes!!' because I think 'That's awesome! That would be great!'

In what way does that warrant criticism? None, at all.

Personally I have a harder time understanding why the Deseret News publishes some of the overly criticizing, often very rude comments that get posted every day.

Hope everyone has enjoyed the scare you so you believe anything 9/11 media blitz this past week. Are we going to see the indisputable evidence that Bin Laden orchestrated the 9/11 attack from a cave in Afghanistan? Or was he still in Saudi Arabia just like 7 of the alleged hijackers are now alive and well? Why was the collapse of WTC # 7 omitted from the perforated 9/11 Commission Report? Are we going to see the indisputable evidence that Bin Laden was killed? Or was that story just ran to cover up the fact that Gaddafis grandchildren were killed by NATO bombs that same weekend of Bin Ladens alleged death? If Saddam Hussein is dead, and the WMDs are gone, destroyed, or never there to begin with. Then why, do we still have US troops in Iraq? After all President Bush stated Mission Accomplished in Iraq on 1 May 2003! Or was that just more propaganda to manipulate the minds and hearts of Americans? Respect to ALL 9/11 victims of that terrible day and to all victims who fell and are falling in the propaganda wake of 9/11.
