The Aggie offense got off to a slow start as it punted and missed a field goal on its first two drives. Utah State managed two field goals before half, but could never get into the end zone.

The second half was a different story as the Aggies quickly scored on their first possession, set up by an interception by the defense on the first play of the half. Starting quarterback Darell Garretson threw a 5-yard touchdown to Brandon Swindall and the Aggies never looked back.

DeMartino had a big game for the Aggies. The senior running back gained 143 yards on the ground to go along with his game-clinching touchdown. DeMartino was consistent all night as the running back finished with an average of more than six yards per carry.

The only negatives on the night were the two turnovers on offense. Garretson threw two interceptions on the night, including one in the end zone.

Great job Aggies, It's a wonderful time to be an Aggie. And it didn't hurt that I wore my lucky shirt.

A- for defense and B+ for coaching? If this was BYU we were talking about they would have graded at A+. Wells deserves national Coach of thr Year but would never be considered, and this was a great defensive effort. Great game by the Aggies and for the USU program.

The author's grading is way off base. The defense deserves an "A+", and a team which which knocks off a very motivated national ranked opponent (with one of the best quarterbacks in the game this year) deserves an "A" as well.

Proud to be an Aggie and proud of the Aggies. Good job and may this success and experience help you the rest of your lives.

Congrats to the players, coaches, and fans of USU. Every time the team seemed to be down and out, they fought their way back to victory. Nice win to end the season.

Great job Aggies on the win! Hope Aggie fans will start to travel and follow their team more. Long history of poor play- not today- this program has really turned around. Need to fix support staff at the ticket line. One guy only!!!???? Glad you had such poor attendance at the game. What if you had a NORMAL crowd with some arrogant single individual at the gate handling thousands of tickets? Grade F. Suck up your pride, represent Aggie Pride. This isn't the end of Aggie Nation, this is the beginning. These things need to be fixed.
