Gameday glance: BYU at Notre Dame, Nov. 23, 1:30 p.m.

Published: Thursday, Nov. 21 2013 10:43 a.m. MST

After completely dismantling Idaho State at home, BYU returns to the road to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Cougars lost 17-14 in a heartbreaker in South Bend last season, and now they have a chance for revenge. A win at Notre Dame would be BYU's biggest statement of the season.

However, the Fighting Irish's power running game and stern defense will be a difficult test for BYU. Notre Dame has had two weeks to stew over its 28-21 loss to Pitt before its bye week, so the Cougars can expect the Irish to be highly motivated to get back into the wins column.

Great list from personal experience working games at 7/13. I would have included the L.A. Coliseum: home to two summer Olympics, Super Bowls, NCAA Championships, Rams, Raiders, and USC. It was also UCLA's home for years prior to the Bruins move to the Rose Bowl. USC and UCLA shared the Coliseum, alternating weekends. When they met at the end of the year, both teams wore home jerseys, a tradition the schools continue today for the game.

"Notre Dame: none"??? Nix, their nose tackle is out...there are undoubtedly more. No football team has no injuries. Come on DN.

I read that Nix is out for the season.
