Type of exchange: Federal

Wisconsin's exchange is being run by the federal government, and enrollment numbers will reportedly be released around mid-November.

According to an Oct. 15 WFRV report, fewer than 50 Wisconsin residents had enrolled using the federal government's exchange due to trouble with the website, although some health clinics told the station enrollment numbers were likely even lower.

Wisconsin's goal for marketplace signups is 5,530 by the end of the month and 79,000 by March 31, 2014.

Uninsured, as of 2011: 494,532

With California at 6.6 million, Texas at 5.7 million and Florida at 3.8 million uninsured, it is pretty easy to see how illegal immigration has become an albatross around the neck of nation when it comes to other taxpayers and insured individuals paying for the health care costs of uninsured persons. Surely the US Congress has been less than responsible for allowing this dilemma to occur with over 15 million in just three states, yet they are the states with the largest numbers of illegals in them. What part of this issue don't the congresspersons understand?

You will note that most of these States that are using or combining with the Federal plan are only anticipating 1/6 of those eligible to sign up prior to the deadline. A rate that if unchanged would require another 30 months after the deadline to get 100% participation.

Those who do sign up will most likely be the ones getting the subsidies (welfare) to pay for the insurance, not the young people who really don't need insurance but are required to buy it in order to make the numbers work.

In reality this will cost more, provide lower quality and harder to get health care with nearly as many uninsured, but at a staggering cost. The losses and tribulations from identity theft stemming from the incompetently designed sign up system will be outrageous.

This entire scheme is designed to fail so that outraged voters will demand "single payer government run" health care as an attractive looking alternative to the mess we have gotten ourselves in.

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee recognize the absurd problems with Obamacare and should be remembered by history as the visionary and bold leaders who tried to prevent this disaster from taking place.

Obamacare will make you sick when you find out what is really in it!

Has obummer and congress signed up yet? I will think about it when all of our leaders are signed up and DO NOT get subsidies.

Even though they are exempt from this because the Federal Gov't already takes care of their Health Care many Native Americans are being urged to sign up for the ACA. The reason is that it will supposedly give them better coverage than what they are getting now.
So if they haven't been getting good care for decades how can we expect any better care when the Gov't finally takes over the whole system?

reservation saying "don't get sick after March because funding is gone". American Indian Health is horrible and remember there are only 3.5 MM indians, not 350 MM
