Record: 1-1

Last week: Lost 40-16 to BYU (1-1)

Up next: Home vs. Ole Miss (2-0)

It's difficult to say if the world was more surprised to see BYU's record-breaking game on the ground or the massive storm that delayed the contest, the second such delay for Cougar football in two weeks.

Regardless, BYU's opponents will doubtlessly study Taysom Hill's ability to run the football following the win.

"We expected to run on them," Hill said of the Texas defense following the game. "We didn't expect to break the school record."

Serious questions will be asked in Austin this week about the Texas football program. With amazing athletes and sky-high expectations, this loss shouldn't give Mack Brown any degree of comfort.

Regarding Middle Tennessee in Week 2, their opponent, University of North Carolina, is actually 1-1 having lost in Week 1 to South Carolina.
