If there was any emotional hangover following the week one loss to Utah, the Aggies didn't show it in week two. Their first game as a member of the Mountain West Conference was about as much as the Aggies could have hoped for.

Unfortunately for the Aggies, many of their opponents followed up their week one losses with perhaps worse week two losses. There were a few bright spots, but it's fair to say most of USU's opponents will be happy to get to conference play.

Regarding Middle Tennessee in Week 2, their opponent, University of North Carolina, is actually 1-1 having lost in Week 1 to South Carolina.
