Last week: Won 36-7 vs. UC Davis

Up Next: at Florida State (1-0)

Following their frustrating loss at UCLA, Nevada defeated UC Davis at home, but not without serving a scare.

Quarterback Cody Fajardo, one of the premier signal callers in the Mountain West, went down with an apparent knee injury just before half but returned to lead the Pack to a dominant win.

The victory was Nevada head coach Brian Polian's first. Polian took over for legendary coach Chris Ault in January. Nevada's field is now named for Ault, who coached at Nevada for more than three decades.

“You know, there’s only so many firsts in your life," Polian told the Reno Gazette-Journal. "You try as best you can to keep everything in perspective and stay in the moment, but first win is first win. It’s pretty cool. So, it will be one that we’ll remember.”

The Wolf Pack will next visit Tallahassee, Fla., to take on the Seminoles.
