Kafentzis Continues to Climb Next » 2 of 11 « Prev
Jordan’s Austin Kafentzis now ranks fourth in Career Total Offense with 9,537 yards. He’s just 332 out of third place (Riley Nelson, Logan, 2003-05) and only 410 away from second (Ryan Zimmerman, Mountain Crest, 2000-02).

But he needs 3,381 yards to surpass the state mark of 12,917 set by Mountain Crest’s Alex Kuresa (2007-10). Just beginning his junior year, Kafentzis is on target to threaten that record by November and leave it in the dust his senior season.

Kafentzis is tied for third in Touchdowns-Responsible-For (103), just 27 out of first place. He’s 12th in Career Passing Yards (6,357), but on the verge of breaking into the top 10.
