There’s really no debate anymore about the most dominant 3A high school in Utah.

Desert Hills placed in the top eight in 16 of 19 sports and won three state championships to easily win the 3A All-Sports award for the third-straight year.

In addition to state titles in boys track, volleyball and girls golf, the Thunder also added runner-up finishes in baseball, girls basketball and boys tennis.

Wasatch finished second with an impressive 81 points behind three state titles, while Park City was close behind with 79 points thanks to its three state titles.

Snow Canyon, Spanish Fork and Dixie rounded out the top six.

Desert Hills’ boys finished with a 3A-best 53 points, while Park City’s girls led the way with 44 points.

Ten different 3A schools won state titles this year.
