Reaction: I would like to use the power of my tiara to thanks @itschappy for the #2013chappys and nominate and award him best Avatar for Franklin. I've resisted all day, but I have to say of my award today: "BOOM, Bloxham! In your face!" Explained to wife my 2013 chappys award. Got same baffled look as when I explained how privateering impacted revolutionary war.

I suffered through ten of these, that's all I can take. (Like Seinfeld, only so much is allowed.)
As far as I'm concerned, social media makes people less connected, focuses on trivia, places people in artificial social groups and keeps people from accepting others around them by focusing on electronic devises instead of one's community, state and national best interests. It's nothing more than fried froth for entertainment and self-centered interests.
@yarrlydarb ...are you not doing the exact equivalent of what you just described by sitting here, posting that comment? I find humor in this.
