High school boys basketball: A closer look at this year's 2A all-staters
Sophomore, 6-2, guard
2012-2013 statistics
15.2 points per game
2.5 rebounds per game
3.5 assists per game
1.6 steals per game
Season high
22 points vs. North Sevier on Jan. 25.
Opposing coach scouting report
“Cody was a coaches' nightmare to scout and play against. He is a very unselfish player that can do it all. He has D1 talent right now as a sophomore. He is as good at getting to the basket as anyone I've seen in 2A. Not only can he get to the rim, but also finishes really well. He is a great team player and always put the team first. He could have averaged 20-plus on any given night if he was asked to. His additional strengths are his size, speed, athleticism, pull up jumper and good shooting.”
