With 25,287 fans packed into Rice-Eccles Stadium for Real Salt Lake’s first home match in franchise history back in 2005, there was a growing fear inside the stadium that the sellout crowd would be heading home disappointed. That all changed in the 81st minute when Brian Dunseth scored on a diving header to lift RSL to a 1-0 victory over Colorado.

If you are going off of "most memorable" goals, then I have to add Olave's goal in the first game at Rio Tinto Stadium. And what about Will Johnson's goal of the year blast the following game. Some of these goals, like Brown's equalizer, are not really memorable for me.
That being said, good choice on Number 1.

Carey Talley (remember him?) scored on a 30+ yard laser into the upper V that dropped my jaw to the floor. There was also that goal Clint Mathis scored during his second stint with the team on a half volley right out of the air from a corner kick. Bent it into the top corner. A real thing of beauty.
