Local college commits shine in state basketball tournaments
OGDEN — Future Cougars, Utes and Aggies were on display throughout the week during the 5A and 4A state basketball tournaments held at the Dee Events Center. Most of the prospects helped their respective teams make deep runs into the tournament — two of whom garnered tournament MVP honors.
The group included four players who will join BYU's basketball program, two future Utes and a couple of future Aggies who lit up the court for their teams. Two BYU football signees also made strong impressions while playing big roles for their teams.

A great tournament and great recruits. Many other players will help stock other schools besides Utah, Utah State and BYU. An example is Conner Toolson who continues to make great contributions for Lone Peak.
