#15 Xander Fausett, Sr., Forward (3.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 1.3 apg)
Scoring offense: 55.5 ppg (16th in 4A)
Scoring defense: 56.5 ppg (18th in 4A)
Last state championship: None
Prep editor James Edward’s bracket: Loss to Bountiful in first round.
Edward’s evaluation: Westlake is the only team with a losing record in the 4A playoffs as it enters the postseason as the No. 4 seed from Region 7, the weakest in 4A. That doesn’t bode well heading into the first round against a Bountiful team on an 18-game winning streak.
