#3 Trevor Hill, Jr., Guard (11.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 3.6 apg, 1.3 spg)
#4 Zach Rollins, Jr., Guard (11.7 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.1 spg)

#21 Carter Heslop, Jr., Forward (4.5 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.2 spg)
Scoring offense: 56.5 ppg (18th in 5A)
Scoring defense: 52.4 ppg (3rd in 5A)
Last state championship: 2010
Prep editor James Edward’s bracket: Loss to Weber in quarterfinals.
Edward’s evaluation: With one of the best defenses in 5A, but also one of the lower scoring offenses, Alta not surprisingly played in a whole bunch of close games this season. Lately though, the Hawks have been winning those tight games as they enter the playoffs on a seven-game winning streak. Earlier in the season they were losing those close games, including one-point losses to Olympus and Bingham, as well as an overtime defeat to Jordan. Alta is very capable of making a deep run in the playoffs, but it could just as easily lose to Bingham again in the first round.
