Top 10 2011 high school playoff games
Scott G. Winterton, Deseret News
Highland’s march to the 4A state championship nearly ended a day early when Colton Colledge’s 3-pointer at the buzzer bounced off the front of the rim. This semifinal was very well played from the opening whistle, as both teams executed very well the entire game each shooting above 47 percent. The teams traded baskets, and the lead, throughout the fourth quarter, but the Rams hit just a few more big shots down the stretch to eke out the win.

First, I think that the Rich vs. Monticello game at the 1A tournament should be #1. How can any other game stand up to a buzzer beater at the end of regulation, one at the end of the first OT, and yet another at the end of the second OT? Not to mention the game winning shot was from very long range--at least 25 feet or more.
Second, i think that the Bryce Valley vs. Duchesne game deserved to make at least honorable mention from the 1A tournament. This game was won on the first day by Bryce Valley 55-53 in double OT, spoiling a great upset bid by the Duchesne Eagles.
