In Steven Spielberg’s latest film, notorious method actor and two-time Oscar-winner Daniel Day Lewis (“There Will Be Blood”) steps into the shoes of the 16th president during the tumultuous final months of the Civil War. Unlike Spielberg’s previous historical films, the main conflict in “Lincoln” — the fight to abolish slavery — doesn’t take place on a battlefield, but some scenes of the Civil War could still be too intense for some audiences.

"Expect quite a bit in the way of violence of sexuality."

Wonder why this is listed first in Holiday Film Preview...

"Grittier" doesn't necessarily mean "more violence and sexuality." Skyfall just has an overall darker tone than many previous Bond movies. I wouldn't say it was any more violent or sexual. That said, I also wouldn't say it was all that great. For all the talk of it being not just a good Bond movie but a good movie, I was underwhelmed.
