10 things that killed the Star Wars prequels
Associated Press
It’s hard to think of a man who is so passionately loved and hated by the same group of people as George Lucas.
But it is impossible to decry the failure of Lucas’ Star Wars prequels without giving him credit for the greatness of the original trilogy. We couldn’t hate the prequels if we didn’t love the original films.
As Disney works to get a new film off the ground, the company would be wise to consider what the prequels seemed to get so wrong, and remember what went right the first time around.

I think that you are off the mark here. While the prequels weren't as good as the original trilogy, they were still good movies.
Jar-Jar Binks & EWOKS, and all the puppet creatures who did not have leading roles!
BTW - Did anyone else take note that in addition to this aqusition of Lucas Arts / Star Wars,
Disney already owns the rights to the Muppets?
This could get bad, seriously bad.
