And where is "Ghostbusters" on the list????

Johnny Triumph

I'd hardly say Ghostbusters is for the entire family. But then I wouldn't have included Coraline on the list either.

Tucson, AZ

I have to agree with Johnny Triumph on that one. I never would have included Coraline on the list of movies for the family.

Orangeville, UT

One of my favorites is "Arsenic and Old Lace" with Cary Grant.

"Something Wicked This Way Comes" was a great scary movie that we watched with our kids.

Riley Mendenhall

Ernest Scared Stupid should be on the list.

Yes, where is "Ghost Busters"???

Don Knotts, "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken"!

St Louis, MO

I like most of these movies, but they're not frightening in the least. If you actually want something actually scary that's not blood-soaked, try The Others, Insidious and
The Changeling . . the George C Scott one; not the Anelina Jolie one, and the R-rating is ridiculous.

No mention of Halloween is Grinch Night? Sheesh!

Hocus-Pocus is the one for me; can't do Halloween without it! Pure Bette Midler at her best. Thank you for including it.

Syracuse, UT

I would also include Garfields Halloween Secial, It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Hotel Transylvania, Goonies, Casper, The Haunted Mansion, maybe even Harry Potter.
