Lexie Dunn and Kenzie Harrison each scored a goal in the second half to help the Darts notch their third victory of the season over the Vikings. Davis finally broke a scoreless tie late in the first half after Vikings defender Liz Mann headed a ball into her own goal.

18th min -- The Darts produce their best scoring chance of the half so far when Kendra Bailey sends in a header off a corner kick that is just barely saved by Viewmont keeper Carly Hutchings.

28th min -- Darts midfielder Sammi Swan picks up a yellow card. Game is becoming a defensive and physical affair.

Viewmont

29th min -- Shaylee Peterson earns a yellow card for the Vikings. The first half is definitely setting an intense tone.

Halftime

So far, the direction of the game is definitely favoring Viewmont. In their two earlier meetings with Davis this season, the Vikings gave up an average of two first half goals. They only gave up one second half goal to the Darts in either game. Viewmont is doing a good job of keeping Davis from getting good looks at the goal and Katie Taylor has been a non-factor so far. But the Vikings are not doing much on the other end against Jaime Wilkinson, who has earned nine shutouts this year -- including two against Viewmont.

45th min -- Swan blasts a long floater from 25 yards out that hooks just outside the left post for the Darts. It would have been a sure goal if the ball had stayed on frame.

Viewmont

50th min -- Aleesha Flandro has a nice takeaway to set up a corner kick. Flandro takes the kick, but it is well defended by the Darts.

63rd min -- GOAL! Darts finally score, getting on the board as a result of a Viewmont defensive mistake. Camille Ostler sends the ball into the area on a flip throw-in. Vikings defender Liz Mann tried to head the ball out, but it slipped off the back of her head and went past Hutchings inside the right post.

Viewmont

68th min -- Flandro launches a high arcing through ball toward Ali Forsberg, who is streaking into the 6-yard box. Flandro's lob pass is broken up by Wilkinson, who comes off the line to snag the ball out of the air.

Davis

72nd min -- GOAL! Katie Taylor has a crisp pass into Kenzie Harrison just outside the penalty area. After one touch, Harrison fired a right-footer at the left corner to give the Darts their second goal.

Viewmont

76th min -- Vikings midfielder Kristin Page gets tabbed with a yellow card. Frustration starting to set in for Viewmont.

Davis

78th min -- GOAL! Lexi Dunn puts the nail in the coffin when she blasts a left-footer from about 25 yards out. Dunn bent the ball nicely inside the post to give the Darts a three goal lead.

Final

Davis breaks open the game after getting on the board thanks to an own goal by Viewmont. The final score obscures just how close this game was until the final 10 minutes. The Darts will face the winner of Alta and Fremont at Rio Tinto Stadium on Friday evening.
