|1||Lone Peak||7-3||Posted a 2-2 record at the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas last week, but the highlight was Frank Jackson's school-record 54 points in one of those wins.|
|2||Olympus||7-0||Baylor signee Jake Lindsey has scored 30-plus points in five of seven games this season, including both victories last week as the Titans remained undefeated.|
|3||Pleasant Grove||8-0||Perfect so far this season, the Vikings head to Palm Desert, Calif. later this week for four games at the MaxPreps Holiday Classic.|
|4||Davis||7-2||After an 0-2 start, the Darts have won seven straight including a pair of games in California last weekend as Gonzaga-bound Jesse Wade has upped his season average to 25.9 ppg.|
|5||Copper Hills||8-1||Experience gained in last year's state tourney has definitely carried over to this year as the Grizzlies are off to a great start.|
|6||Bingham||8-2||Won all four games in the Premier Division (second division) in Las Vegas last week, including a win over Logan in the championship.|
|7||Logan||9-1||Impressed at the Tarkanian Classic last week, advancing to the championship game before falling to Bingham.|
|8||Orem||8-2||Despite little returning varsity experience, the Tigers have impressed so far this season, including a 3-1 record at last week's Tarkanian Classic.|
|9||Sky View||5-4||Despite dropping two games to Highland, Idaho this preseason, the balanced Bobcats have enjoyed a strong December with three different players averaging in double figures.|
|10||Lehi||8-0||The Pioneers have won five straight very close games, momentum it carries into the Riverton Holiday Tournament beginning this Saturday.|
|11||American Fork||6-3||Following some frustrating losses at its own tournament two weeks ago, Cavemen hoping to build new momentum at MaxPreps Holiday Classic in California later this week.|
|12||Syracuse||8-1||Isn't blowing anyone away this preseason, but the Titans are finding ways to win close games night after night, which should pay dividends once Region 1 play rolls around.|
|13||Pine View||10-0||It's been a perfect start for the Panthers, who picked up a pair of nice wins over Maple Mountain and Viewmont last week at Dixie State.|
|14||Murray||6-1||Four different players are averaging right around double figures for the Spartans, who've surprised many with their impressive start this month.|
|15||Salem Hills||7-2||Enjoyed a strong showing in Orlando last week, winning two games at KSA Events Holiday Classic before falling in championship game to a team from Canada.|
|16||Brighton||5-5||As Derek Devashrayee works way back from ankle injury, the Bengals will likely came climbing the rankings week after week.|
|17||Bountiful||3-5||The defending champs have dropped four of the their last five, including three losses at the Tarkanian Classic last week in Las Vegas.|
|18||Layton||4-5||Few teams have been more up and down than Layton, but if it ever finds some consistency, it could give Davis a run for its money in Region 1.|
|19||Corner Canyon||5-3||The Chargers have won four straight, which includes a pair of victories on the East Coast last week.|
|20||Herriman||6-3||Posted a 2-2 record last week, including a pair of narrow losses to Juan Diego and Syracuse.|
