It took four overtimes but the Pirates prevailed. Kayden Mecham scored four of his team-leading 22 points on the foul line in the final overtime to seal Green River's victory. Mecham finished with 20 rebounds, while teammates Tyson Johnson and Jason Johnson also recorded double-doubles. Green River survived despite a 33-point effort from Mount Vernon's Cameron Lambson.
