The Warriors bounced back from a slow start to earn a semifinal berth in only their second year of varsity play. The squad was led by seniors Brayden Facemyer, who scored 35 points and dished 13 assists, and Brandon Nichols, who had 18 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Adam Long took on the defensive assignment of shutting down center Zach Paige and held him to zero points in the second half. Paige scored 15 and grabbed nine boards for the Lions. Wesley Poulsen added 13 points and Jared Engelholm contributed 12 points. The loss means the Lions will face Rich in the third/fourth place game Saturday at 3 p.m.
