Orem jumped out to a big lead in the first half and held on to win hitting 9-of-11 free throws down the stretch to seal the victory over cross town rival Timpanogas. Orem had four players in double figure scoring with Jordan Darger leading the scoring with 19 points, Josh Pollard scoring 16 points, Christian Clark chipping in 11 and freshman Dalton Nixon contributing 10 points.
Timpanogas was led by Chris Melville with 19 points and Timpanogas center Ryan Van Pelt knocked in 10 points.
