Bountiful won shootout 5-3

Bountiful 'keeper Carly Longhurst made a brilliant save in the third round of penalty kicks, and striker Elena Medeiros knocked home the game-winning penalty three rounds to help Bountiful stun Region 8 Springville and advance to the semifinals. Medeiros put Bountiful ahead in the sixth minute before Lexi Eaton, the state's leading scorer, leveled the match in the 43rd minute. Bountiful's defense did a tremendous job of keeping Eaton and her talented teammates quiet throughout.
