It took two overtimes, but Springville came out on top of Maple Mountain in a battle between the top teams in Region 8. Maple Mountain's Baylee Nielsen forced overtime with her second-half equalizer, but Lexi Eaton converted a penalty kick in the 97th minute to win the game for the Red Devils.
